Youth in Action project, Action 4.3 Training course for youth workers.

YOUTH IS THE KEY is an educational project of 2012 about youth unemployment and the educational competencies that young people must develop to more easily access to work. The idea of the project came from the need to train youth workers and other professionals working in the educational sector on how to better support the youth in developing the competences necessary to find a job. The project foresees the realisation of a training course in Palermo for youth workers and teachers coming from Croatia, Greece, Italy, Romania, Sweden and Turkey. By exchanging experiences on the topic of youth unemployment in their national context the participants explored together the key educational skills and proposed initiatives to tackle youth unemployment. The results of the training course have been used to design a training for trainers that took place in Smirne, Turkey in 2013.
