How the youngsters could observe and read their districts?
How they could discover all the opportunities in order to increase their civic engagement?
How they could build new collective and partecipative strategies to improve their impact as actors of local change?
The project Youth Map aims to develop new partecipative tools in order to improve the participation of youth at risk of social exclusion. The project partners are: the association SGUARDI URBANI, the german organisation GANGWAY, the spanish organisation DRAMBLYS, the polish foundation AUTOCREACJA and the bulgarian association IDEA FACTORY.
The project foresees the realization of two activities: a training course for youth workers and a youth exchange. The activities are realized in Palermo in November 2017 and March 2018. The first meeting focus on partecipative methodologies to support the youth workers in the realization of their activities with youth at risk of social exclusion. The second activity focus on the mapping of a specific meighborhood by tracking the resource and interviewing the inhabitans with the aim of creating urban development proposals.
Youth Map aims to create an international network of youth workers that use the mapping and the partecipative methodologies as tool to involve the youth at risk of social exclusion.
The project is financed with the support of the Erasmus + Programme (KA1 Mobility of youth and youth workers)
